The Jollypie men consist of James & Stephen. Whilst some kids were born with a football at their feet, James was born with a pie in his hand. With an Aussie for a mother & a passion for eating he was always going to end up in the pie business. He started cooking pies at Uni, with his flatmates being his biggest pie advocates (stealing them in the middle of the night).
Stephen on the other hand is a classic ‘Del Boy’ and has a knack for getting things done. From selling James dodgy iPods to buying and selling antiques, he’s able to turn his hand to anything. Stephen knew James was able to dabble in the kitchen, with James feeding the rugby team they knew they had a following.
Jollypies don’t want to be the biggest pie company, we want to be the best and that means finding the best ingredients and having the best pieologists. We source all our ingredients from farms and suppliers which we’ve dealt with for generations, so we know exactly how the animals have lived and how the veggies are grown. From the family farm to our artisan butchers, we know exactly how a Jollypie is made.
We’ve worked on old Aussie family recipes to make our pies a local delicacy. From birthday parties to selling out at our first St George’s Market, we knew we were starting a bit of a #pierevolution.
We’ve since featured at Balmoral Show Good Food Tent, Lisburn City Market, Belfast Continental Market and you can also find us on the shelves of some of NI’s best delis, food halls, farm shops, pubs & cafes.
